Without getting into too much detail, we both met through one of our friends and instantly connected over our love of everything guitar and heavy metal related. 
The more we spoke, the more we realised how many bands both of us had seen live, and how many gigs we both went to before we even knew each other. A weird coincidence don't you think?

Fast forward a couple of years and we both came up with the idea of building a guitar from scratch. Whilst we both had experience of assembling guitars from different parts and modifying existing guitar, building a new one from raw timbers was an entirely new experience for both of us. We instantly became hooked on the process. Both of us really dived into the care and attention to detail you often don't find on many shop bought guitars.

James has been building guitars since around 2015/2016, starting off by collecting parts of various different types of guitar and fixing them all together to see what happens.This led to building the second guitar he ever owned; an LP style guitar in cherry sunburst. This guitar has had more changes and modifications than you can imagine but it's a guitar that will always be very close to him.

James will be taking on the majority of the initial building steps. From carefully sourcing and choosing timbers to selecting hardware and everything in between. He will be there to find the perfect balance for what you desire in a guitar. Majority of the time through your custom guitar or bass journey you will be in contact with James. Be prepared for a million questions before anything is set in stone, and additional steps can be taken towards completion.

Mollie is an expert in electronics and can wire up a guitar in a million different ways. She takes great care in providing a final quality check before any guitar, or bass, leaves the workshop. She also helps with the finishing and final setups of any guitar or bass that come our way ensuring everything meets our very strict standards and criteria.
